We believe that sustainable development of Nepal is possible through development of villages, where majority of the country’s population resides, by implementation of indigenous technologies that can only originate and develop from the soil of this country.

With this conviction, ITD Nepal was established in 2004 by us, a group of enthusiastic Engineers with a vision to apply our learning and concentrate our effort on basically two challenging fields of technology, viz. micro hydro and small span appropriate ropeway systems.

With this conviction, ITD-Nepal want to develop Francis turbine with simplified construction to suit micro-hydro schemes of Nepal, with efficiency higher than prevalent cross-flow turbines at least by 10%.

Nepal Development Marketplace 2005 has awarded ITD Nepal for developing an innovative appropriate technology of river crossing named as Mechanized Ghirling in conflict affected area of Nepal. The World Bank has supported the company granting monetary fund in materializing the Mechanized Bridge of 480m span in Kotre-Punditar across Seti River at Tanahun District of Nepal.

Besides above mentioned areas, we also render our consultancy and  services in mechanization and automation in industries to achieve higher accuracy and productivity.
